2015 UPSC topper Tina Dabi is currently posted as the collector of Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer district bordering Pakistan. Jaisalmer is considered sensitive in terms of security due to its proximity to Pakistan. So, every decision taken here matters and as the collector, Tina Dabi has a huge responsibility.

According to a Zee News report, keeping in mind the security of the country, Dabi has taken a big decision.

Reportedly, Tina Dabi has banned the use of Pakistani local sim. She took this decision after the breach of the Pakistani mobile network on the Indian border. She has also issued an order banning Pakistan's SIM inside the Indian border for a couple of months.

Notably, Pakistan's network comes up to 3-4 kilometers in the border. The ban has been imposed in view of the apprehension of security threats.

After topping the IAS in the year 2015, Dabi has been hitting the headlines. She is often in news either for her personal or professional life. Her love life is a hot topic of discussion on the internet.

Tina earlier this year got married to fellow officer Dr. Pradeep Gawande after she got divorced from Athar Amir Khan. Athar had secured second rank in the 2015 UPSC exam. Tina and Athar got divorced in Jaipur's Family Court in August 2021.
