A video of a fisherman’s bone-chilling encounter with a huge shark while fishing in Hawaii will surely give you goosebumps. The scary video shows a huge Tiger Shark coming out of nowhere and attacking the fisherman’s ‘kayak’ in a split second.

Luckily, the fisherman survived the attack as the shark disappeared back into the water. Taking to its official YouTube channel, Hawaii Nearshore Fishing shared the video and wrote, “Tiger shark attacks kayak fisherman off Oahu.”

The video starts with a man fishing on his boat. Before he can understand anything, a huge shark appears from nowhere and attacks his boat almost gulping it. Seconds later, it disappears back into the water leaving the fisherman in shock.

Luckily, it did not attack the fisherman back. Social media users assumed that the shark was taking a rest and might have been disturbed by the boat.

Sharing his experience, the fisherman said, “Heard a whoosing sound, looked up and saw a wide brown thing on the side of the kayak. Thought it was a turtle at first. Happened so fast, Didn’t realize I took my left foot out of the water to brace myself from impact and actually pushed the shark’s head off with it.”

“If you asked me to do that again, even without the shark, I don’t think I’d have that flexibility. I actually only thought the shark rammed the kayak until I saw the video at home.”

Since being shared online, the video has garnered over 110K likes with several comments of YouTube users.

“Amazing how fast that attack was initiated. No time to do anything but panic. Glad you were ok brah!” commented a user.

Another user wrote, “Holy crap!! I almost lost control of my bodily fluid and I wasn’t on that kayak. I’m shocked the kayak didn’t capsize. Glad the guy’s ok.”

“I’m so glad that you are okay. I literally screamed when it attacked you. I probably would have passed out and my body found somewhere in the deep blue. I’ll stick to Carriers and Cruise ships. Man! This video is the best and you deserve awards and all the views possible. The fact that you kept fishing caused me to scream again. You are truly blessed my friend,” commented another user.
