Love it or hate it, the 90s era of Bollywood was one of the best periods of the Hindi film industry. It is a goldmine of sweet nostalgia for a certain generation.

From superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan rocking in their prime age to evergreen actresses like Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit, Raveena Tandon, Preity Zinta slaying it on the screen with their natural beauty, the 90s was a beautiful phase for the Bollywood with chartbuster songs by Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam, and Udit Narayan.

Meanwhile, a hilarious video of two friends recreating the 90s songs and giving it a new twist has left the internet in splits. The video highlights how heroines in the 90s were always juggling from one place to another place in the songs and would always keep running.

Sharing the video, comedian Arun Kushwah also known as @iamchotemiyan wrote, “Yeh heroines ka bhaagna zaruri hai kya?”

The video shows Arun’s friend Raksha Kumawat dancing to Madhuri Dixit’s hit song ‘Paalkhi Mein Sawar Chali Re’ from the movie Khalnayak. He hilariously tries to hold her, but she keeps running around like the heroines in the 90s.

Since being shared on Instagram, the video has garnered 240K likes with 3098 comments. Social media users cannot get enough of the video and are flooding it with hilarious comments.

“Aur song end hote hi Shakti Kapoor utha le jata tha heroine ko,” commented a user while another user wrote, “tum dono kill kar rahe ho (with laughing emojis).”

A third user wrote, “Abhi mera result aya ki me interview me fail hoon… lekin apki video dekh kar bohut hasi arahi hai.”

“This is so hilarious, thank you for making me laugh so much,” commented another user.
