Road accidents cause loss of lives, life-threatening injuries, broken livelihoods, and chaos. The daily figures for accidents in India are mind-boggling. Over-speeding, reckless driving, drunken driving, traffic rule violation, distractions, and bad road conditions are the major reasons for road mishaps. Traffic cops enforce laws and manage traffic to ensure safety of commuters.

However, despite multiple awareness drives being conducted to spread road safety awareness, reckless drivers pay no heed and cause a ruckus on the road pushing everyone into trouble.

While the duty of a traffic cop is to take such persons into the task and punish them according to the law, here we bring a video that will tickle your funny bones as well as raise the safety concerns of other commuters.

As seen in the video, a traffic cop tried to interact with a rickshaw driver, but he gave a slip to the cop. As it seems, the driver had violated traffic rules and when the cop was trying to take him to task, he escaped.

Later, the cop started chasing the driver. While chasing, the cop tried to stop the auto but the driver started yelling at him and didn’t stop. The cop continued to chase the auto on several streets and main roads.

Unexpectedly, the driver hit a bike rider in the middle of the road and didn’t stop by. Some other cops also chased him but failed to catch him.

The driver then moved to a narrow street in a residential area, creating chaos on the road. After a while, the driver left his auto and jumped out to escape from the cops.

While his auto turned turtle, the cops followed him. However, the driver gave a slip to the cops and crossed a railway track, and escaped.

The video shared on Twitter by Gagandeep Singh has gone viral and users have compared the chase sequence with that of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City or GTA Vice City, a popular arcade game. Some others have also compared it with the sequence of the Hindi action movie ‘Dhoom’.
