Groom runs away from wedding, leaving bride at wedding stage for jaimala 

In a shocking incident, a bride was left waiting at the wedding stage for hours but the groom didn’t turn up for the marriage.

According to an IndiaTV report, the incident took place in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district. 

As per reports, the marriage of a youth of Masuriha village was fixed with a girl, a resident of Dol Kothar. Starting from Tilakotsav, all the wedding rituals were observed with pomp and grandeur.  

On the wedding day, the groom arrived at the wedding venue in a grand baraat. On reaching the venue, the groom was also welcomed as per tradition. However, after the dwarpuja, the groom sneaked out of the venue on a bike leaving the bride at the wedding stage.

Later when the groom didn’t come for the ‘jaimala’ ritual, it caused a ruckus at the wedding venue.

Meanwhile, the bride’s family alleged that the groom had already done a court marriage with another girl and he had come for a second marriage.

The girl's side also alleged that the groom's father also knew about the boy's first marriage, but they had kept it secret.

When the bride's side came to know about the whole incident, a fight erupted and was subsequently settled after the intervention of the police.
