Groom demands a kiss from bride before varmala, here’s what happened next

Indian weddings are filled with fun and laughter. From watching excited relatives and indulging in scrumptious food to dancing one's heart out there are a lot of things that make them fun. But the bride and the groom are showstoppers of a wedding, as it is their day. And things can get exciting if the bride and groom come up with their own antics to add fun to the rituals.

We witnessed such an incident in an Instagram video that has recently gone viral. The clip is from a varmala ceremony. In the video, the groom has added a new twist to the garland ceremony putting the condition of receiving a kiss on the stage from the bride to commence the ceremony. 

In the viral video, both the bride and groom can be seen standing on the stage for the Jaimala ceremony. The bride tries to put the garland around the groom’s neck but he manages to dodge her.  Then the groom is seen making gestures to the bride, requesting a kiss. 

The bride seems shy initially, however, she gives in after the groom’s repeated request and plants a kiss on his cheek. In the background, the couple’s family and groom can be seen cheering and hooting for them.

The video shared by an Instagram account called wedding answers has over 139K views, 6.9K views, and hundreds of comments.

The groom’s adorable demand has been winning hearts as the video has left netizens in awe.
