A groom reportedly called off his marriage on wedding mandap after he saw his future mother-in-law smoking and dancing to DJ music.

Reportedly, the incident took place in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh.

According to a LIVEHindustan report, the wedding of a youth resident of Sarayatrin was fixed with a girl from Rajpura.

Following this, the Godbharai ceremony was held and other rituals for the wedding were performed. The wedding was fixed on June 27 (Tuesday).

On the wedding day, the groom arrived with baraatis at a temple where the marriage was scheduled to take place.

After reaching the temple, the groom was waiting at the mandap for the wedding rituals to take place. While waiting the groom was shocked to see his future mother-in-law smoking a cigarette and dancing to the tunes of DJ music.

The groom was stunned and refused to marry. Following this there was a dispute between both families and the wedding was called off.

Later, the groom returned home with his baraatis while the bride also left with her mother.
