Girl traps youths by asking lift at midnight, highway robbers attack car; watch how they escape

Highway robbery incidents are pretty common across the world. Either solo or in a group, the robbers attack travellers. Though daytime robberies are frequent, robberies during the night are also prevalent. Robber/s lay baits for the travellers to distract them and subsequently loot them.

The standard baits include girls asking for lifts or people seeking help to rescue accident victims.

 
Recently, a video surfaced on social media that shows two youths getting trapped by a gang of highway robbers. However, with minimal loss, the youths luckily escape from the spot. The entire incident was captured on a mobile camera by one of the youths in the car.

In the video, two youths can be seen talking while a girl can be seen asking for a lift at a distance. The youths discuss and finally decide to stop by the girl. As the car stops by the girl and one of the youths rolls down the window glass, the girl requests them to drop her at her home.

The girl can be heard saying that she is quite terrified of being alone in the middle of the road. Upon asking what she is doing alone in the middle of the road at midnight, the girl narrates that after a quarrel her boyfriend dumped her there and went away.

The girl requests the youths to give her a lift to Sector 11 in Dwarka and also says that her mobile had no network signal.

While the youths denied giving her a lift, a group of people charged them and hit the windshield of the car with a wooden log. The robbers gheraoed the car from all sides and can be seen asking to open the car door. The sudden attack left the youths panicked and they can be heard screaming out of fear.

However, the youths gather courage and started their car, and sped up after a while. Without turning back, the youths escaped from the spot.

Though the origin of the video couldn’t be verified, the video shared on Twitter by Insane Reality Leaks has gone viral on social media. The video has been viewed over 8 million times and has triggered netizens to share their opinions.
