Farmer single-handedly saves cow from lion, terrifying video goes viral

An incredible video of a farmer single-handedly chasing away a lion and saving a cow has left the internet in awe of his courage. The viral video is reportedly from Gir Somnath district of Gujarat.

In the 40 seconds video, we can see a huge lion biting a cow on its neck. The carnivore is trying hard to pin down the cow, which on the other hand, desperately tries to free itself. The lion continues to bite the cow even as it desperately tries to fight it off.

Meanwhile, a middle-aged man, likely the owner of the cow, slowly walks in. He tries to scare off the lion, but the carnivore continues to bite the cow. Later, he searches for a stick and stone. He then picks up a stone from the roadside and scares the lion away.

The video was shot from a car and has been going viral on Twitter. Sharing the video, a Twitter user wrote, “When a cow was attacked by a lioness at Alidar village in Gir Somnath district, farmer Kiritinsh Chauhan tried and succeeded in killing his cow. Thank you very much.” (sic)

“It's great that Farmer rescued his cow from the Lioness valiantly... I didn't understand why the person who's shooting this video didn't render help to the farmer,” commented a user. (sic)

Another user wrote, “I might also not be able to help in this situation as I'll be scared of my life plus I think they are also busy shooting a video on how a lion can kill its prey.”
