‘Drama queen’ of serpents! Watch surprising video
Everyone does have a family member or a friend who reacts to situations in an unnecessarily dramatic or exaggerated way. Such people are referred to as ‘drama queens.’ Though sometimes such acts can be irritating, they can be hilarious too.
Just like humans, animals also behave strangely at times leaving others surprised. While animal behaviour is unpredictable, they can turn violent or act weirdly when they sense a threat to their life.
But, you may not have seen a snake behaving like a ‘drama queen’. Here we bring a video that shows a snake acting strangely that will leave you surprised as well as tickle your funny bones.
Recently, a video surfaced on social media that shows a small snake crawling on the ground. Suddenly, the person recording the video fingers the reptile. Though the person’s touch was gentle, the snake suddenly opened its mouth wide, stiffened its body, and rolled upside down like a dead serpent.
Great example of a behavioural adaptation: A hognose snake faking its own death in response to an apparent threat... 😂

But, in reality, the snake didn’t die. It was a reflex action and reptiles of this species do the same. The hognose snakes fake their own death in response to an apparent threat.
The video shared on Twitter by Steve Stewart-Williams has gone viral on social media triggering hilarious comments from netizens. Surprised by the snake’s reflex action, several users termed the snake as ‘Drama Queen.’ Furthermore, the video has amassed massive views.
