The incident came to light when Manav had reportedly made a live video in which he blamed his wife for his death. Soon after that a video surfaced in which Manav's wife Nikita refuted all the claims made by her deceased husband over getting tortured. She also claimed that he used to beat her while being in an intoxicated condition.

A purported video is circulating over social media with her wife making a fresh statement.

Nikita's New Statement

In the new video clip, Nikita said, ''I told Manav about Abhishek but didn't told him that we had s*x. I told him after our marriage, that to after he asked me a number of times about the matter. I got scared of losing Manav. After Manav came to my life, I removed all my contacts. I know I have made a lot of mistakes, told lies to Manav, just for the sake of our marriage."

She further added, "After all this, he never raised his hand on me. I made a lot of mistakes by not telling Manav about my past. Now I realise my mistakes. After our marriage, Manav's father never asked for dowry from me, didn't demand anything, they are very nice people, but I am not worth it. If I commit suicide, no one will be responsible rather than myself. I am sorry Manav, I was wrong'.'
