A Nepali girl has taken social media by storm after performing her hip-hop and break dance in a saree and high heels. The woman has rightfully proved that nothing is impossible.

The video of the girl has set the internet ablaze as it breaks stereotypes around wearing traditional attire for contemporary dance. The video beautifully captures the amalgamation of culture and contemporary dance forms.

The girl adds to the charm of her dance moves with her energy, expressions, and timing. The girl is dressed elegantly in a pastel saree with a short-sleeved blouse with high white heels.

The video starts with the girl standing in the middle of a dance floor, supposedly at a marriage function. As soon as the music plays, she promptly begins performing a series of break dance moves effortlessly. From B-boying, and contemporary dance to hip-hop, the girl does it all smoothly without any hindrance.

Seeing her moves, the girl instantly breaks out into cheer and applause for her. Since being shared online, the video has garnered millions of views with over 798K likes on Instagram.

“Omg super confident and great dancer as well .... I can't even walk properly with saree,” commented a user.

Another user commented, “This Is DOPE! And so is Jenisha (the girl).”

However, a section of fans wasn’t too pleased with the dance in the saree and expressed their opinion in the comment section.

“Ayyo! We can do any form of dance in a saree! Pls, don’t hype about this! If you had to really look cool, tie that pallu and do the same moves! All these steps are already mentioned in Bharata Muni - Nayyar Shastra! So chill and don’t make unnecessary noise!” wrote a user.

Another user wrote, “Saree is an epitome of grace don't ruin it like this. it looks total mess here and horrible, would have looked amazing with appropriate clothes.”
