Delhi street vendor's popcorn omelette creates internet frenzy

There are many quick and easy recipes out there, but one of the fastest and most popular breakfast options is the omelette.

Street food vendors often get creative to attract customers as they create omelette into various dishes, and a recent viral video showcased a unique creation known as the "Popcorn Omelette."

This video was shared on the social media platform X Muskurayega India with the caption, "Bauji's popcorn omelette 😱 Enjoy it with your loved one 😍."

While this dish might sound unusual to many, it indeed exists.

A street vendor from Delhi's bustling food street, Khau Gully, came up with this unusual recipe that's taken the internet by storm.

In the video, the street vendor explains, "First, we add some butter, then break two eggs into the pan. After that, we add a handful of finely chopped onions, just a much, not too little like others. Then, we add some popcorn. This is what we call popcorn. After that, I'll add a boiled egg."

Someone behind the camera asks about the price, to which the vendor responds, "Well, the price is currently 100 rupees.”

He proceeds to finish the dish and concludes by saying, "I wonder how it tastes. Let me know in the comments."

As the video went viral, internet users reacted with humour. One user joked, "If his ancestors had slept early that night, our country would have been saved from a big crisis."

Another quipped, " Uncle ji thoda sa Hagg or do ussme 😂."

There were comments like, "Only those who are clueless will visit vendors like these... Legends make omelets at home."

Lastly, a playful comment read, "If I get a time machine, I'll give a condom to his grandpa before he was born 🔥."
