Cop suspended after his wife ‘obstructs traffic’ to shoot
In a bizarre incident, a woman named Jyoti caused quite a stir in Chandigarh when she decided to film a dance reel right in the middle of a busy road. She chose a spot near a zebra crossing, allegedly blocking the path of vehicles behind her. The drivers were reportedly left waiting patiently for her to finish her performance.
As expected, the video went viral on social media, and it also landed Jyoti in trouble. She and her sister-in-law, Pooja, were arrested by the police for causing a public disturbance. Although they were later granted bail, the incident had already sparked widespread outrage.

But that's not all - Jyoti's husband, Ajay Kundu, a police constable in Chandigarh, also faced the consequences of her actions. He was suspended from his job after Jyoti posted the video from his Instagram account.
However, netizens raised their voices in favour of the constable, stating that he should not be suspended for the deeds of his wife.
“All these things are investigated within days. Fetxhing CCTV footages and suspending the constable for her wife’s action. But when a common person goes to Police for solid crimes, they are not attended to,” wrote an ‘X’ user.
Another user commented, “this people are either mental or trying to make money, but adminstration has to deal very strongly as it distrubs people on roads.
