Indian weddings are super fun, all thanks to fun rituals. Every now and then, crazy videos from marriages go viral on social media. Yet another one is making rounds on the internet which features one such fun ritual.

The video, which was captured during the Joota Chupai ritual, has caught everyone's attention. For those unversed about the tradition, the bride’s sister at the wedding hides the groom's shoes after which he has to pay a hefty amount or fulfil her demands to get them back.

The bride’s squad has invented a unique way to steal the shoe from the groom which is going viral on social media.

In the now-viral video, the bride and the groom can be seen standing on a stage and talking with the guests while two girls in sarees with a young man can be seen approaching them. The youth can be seen lifting the groom with the help of the guest present on the stage. Meanwhile, the two girls can be seen taking stealing the groom’s shoe from his feet.

It seems the bride and the groom were totally clueless about what was going on. However, when the bride realised that the bridesmaid was stealing the groom’s shoe, she came totally in support of her squad and can be seen cheering and laughing wildly on the stage.

Netizens had a good laugh after watching this heist video. Some also commended the bride squad for their effort to steal the shoe.

“Best idea will use this idea,” posted an Instagram user. “Ye chori nahi dakaiti hai,” shared another. “Wt an idea sir ji,” wrote a third. A fourth user commented, “That was smoothest juta heist ever?”
