Bride marries husband and father-in-law in a bizarre wedding day mix-up

In a shocking mix-up, a bride in Australia allegedly tied the knot with her husband and father-in-law at the same time.

According to a News24.com report, the woman shared her story on the Australian breakfast radio show, 'Fitzy and Wippa with Kate Ritchie. 

As per reports, the radio show hosts introduced a topic where they asked listeners to share a story about a moment when they had been given one simple job but still couldn't get it right.

On the show, a woman named Kim called in to share her story in which she shared her wedding accident.

"So, I got married, and we only needed two witnesses, which was my mother and mother-in-law, and so that was organised," said Kim.

She continued to add that at the rehearsal; her mother-in-law insisted that her husband come up. "We signed the certificates, no worries." Everything was going well at the wedding until they realised there had been an awful mistake with the signatures on the marriage certificates. "When we looked at it, I'm now actually married to my husband and my father-in-law. They signed on the same line." 

One of the hosts asked Kim if she was now legally married to her father-in-law, and she responded by saying that it was only on the certificate.

Notably, a video clip of the episode was shared on Instagram with the caption, 'Yikes'.
