In a heartwarming and unconventional celebration, a couple from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, chose to intertwine their wedding with the jubilation of India's triumph against South Africa in the ongoing ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023.

The 37th match of the 2023 World Cup witnessed Team India's resounding victory over South Africa, and this joyous event found its way into the couple's nuptials.

News agency ANI shared a video capturing the wedding festivities. In the footage, guests at the wedding, presumably close friends and family of the newlyweds, could be observed waving the Indian flag and displaying images of the cricketing icon, Virat Kohli. They were also seen bursting firecrackers.

This video swiftly gained widespread attention across the internet, becoming a viral sensation that resonated with countless cricket enthusiasts and well-wishers.

The groom, evidently overwhelmed by the 'double dhamaka,' proudly proclaimed that the day marked both his wedding and India's win, with the added bonus of Virat Kohli equaling Sachin Tendulkar's one-day international century record.

"It is a 'double dhamaka' for me as today is my wedding, India has also won today, and Virat Kohli has equalled Sachin Tendulkar's record," said the groom.

The bride, equally elated by the serendipitous celebration, remarked, "It feels amazing. We will remember this day forever."

With this victory, India has secured their eighth consecutive win in the 2023 World Cup, maintaining an immaculate record with just one more game against the Netherlands to come. India now boasts an impressive tally of 16 points from eight games and stands as the sole undefeated team in the tournament.
