Therefore, she reportedly expressed her wish to write the exam, and both her family and in-laws supported the decision.

Later, it was decided that the wedding will be solemnized on the scheduled day while they will perform the 'vidai' ceremony after Shivani returns from her exam centre.

Reportedly, Shivani rushed to the exam hall after completing the wedding rituals in a red bridal sari and appeared for the exam while her husband and in-laws waited patiently for almost five hours.

Shivani was quoted saying to Dainik Bhaskar that she is happy that she has got supportive in-laws. Groom Abhishek was quoted saying that such opportunities do not come again and again so he felt that Shivani should appear for the exam.

"That's why we all agreed that there will be an exam first and a farewell later," he added.
