Brave schoolgirls catch harasser; give him belt treatment – Watch

A group of schoolgirls displayed immense courage by confronting a youth who had been harassing them and brutally thrashed him with belts in the middle of a busy street. The school-going girls caught hold of the harasser, before teaching him a lesson for life.

The youth had been trying to propose to a girl making lewd remarks and staring at the young girls for the past several weeks. The video shows the schoolgirls beating him with belts while he tries to hide his face out of shame. They beat him up until he fell on the ground. Soon, passers-by gather around and encourage the young girls to beat him more.

The girls said that he would often follow them whenever they were on their way to school. He would stare at them in a bad way and sometimes pass lewd comments.

“This had been going on for several weeks, but today we decided to teach him a lesson,” the girls said. Locals later reported him to the police, reports said.

Since being shared on X, the video went viral with netizens saluting the bravery of the young girls.

“The girls showed real courage by confronting the harasser directly. That’s the way forward, women need to take their safety into their own hands,” shared a user.
