Bizarre food combo of ‘Kurkure with Dahi’ leaves foodies aghast

From egg pani puri to chocolate golgappa, Indian street food vendors never fail to woo customers with their creativity and unique marketing style. However, a viral video of a street vendor experimenting with Kurkure and Dahi has left the internet cringe.

The culinary creation of experimenting with our beloved snack, kurkure with dahi has not gone down well with food lovers. A video shared on Instagram shows the vendor first put kurkure on a plate. He then tops it with spicy chutney, followed by generous amount of dahi.

Then he drizzles some pudina chutney over it along with chaat masala and coriander leaves. He also adds slicked onions and bhujia before serving. The unique take on kurkure is just like a version of chaat, but has left foodies aghast.

The unusual dahi kurkure is being served outside Barbate Garden, Lakadganj, Nagpur. Since being shared on Instagram, the video has amassed a whopping 3.1 million views, 131K likes and hundreds of comments from food lovers.

“If you ever feel useless, just remember this dish exists,” commented a user.

Another user suggested, “Bhai put sambar, mayonnaise, solkadhi and tamarind chutney on top of this also.”
