Bihar civil service official caught driving on wrong side, shows attitude on road
A Bihar government official driving on the wrong side of the road and then intimidating the youth who stopped him has sparked a debate on social media. The footage filmed on the dashcam of the youth’s car exposes the brazen behaviour of the government officer.
The clip recorded on the dashcam shows some youths enjoying in their car as they drive through the street of Mithapur, Patna in Bihar. Meanwhile, a bureaucrat’s vehicle (as being claimed in the video) with a designation board on his car comes on their way on the wrong side of the road.
The video shows the babu, in stylish sunglasses, getting out of the car like a hero and threatening the youth to side off. When the youths do not budge, he threatens that he is an officer and can seize their vehicle and detain them.
‘Sabko Rakh Lenge, Tumko Bhi Aur Gadi Ko Bhi, Samjha, Board Laga Hai, Tumko Nahin Dikh Raha Hai,” the officer threatens. However, the youth maintains his calm and questions him for openly violating the traffic norms.

This further infuriates the officer who continues to shout as if he is doing a great thing being on the wrong side of the road. However, when the other youth does not give him way, the officer babu finally surrenders and speeds away on the wrong side of the road.
With millions of views on X, the video has drawn attention to the ‘dadagiri’ of the Bihar government officer.
“Bihar is on another level in terms of lack of traffic sense & respect for laws in general. People just don't care and do what they think is convenient for them. Every time you take your vehicle out, you better maintain a cool head otherwise all kinds of misfortunes can happen,” shared a user.
Another user shared, “Always keep calm, choose your words wisely and start recording immediately. That civilian was very patient, didn't overreact.”
“Good lesson taught. All indian citizens must not tolerate such nonsense 👍😍,” shared another user.
