Another day, another 'heart-attack'; man dies while working out at gym

Adding to the rising number of deaths due to suspected heart attacks, a young man died while working out inside a gym. The 32-year-old man reportedly fainted after experiencing uneasiness and was later declared dead.

The deceased has been identified as Deepak Gupta, a resident of Varanasi. Gupta was regular at the gym for the past ten years and was very fit. He also participated in several fitness competitions and had won some events. 

CCTV camera inside the gym captures the man feeling uneasy during workout. Seconds later, he is seen sitting with his hands on his head before collapsing. Others working out at the gym rushed to help him. But, he is seen trembling as his friends try to massage his back and head. He was immediately rushed to a local hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

While no exact reason for his death was ascertained immediately, doctors suspect him to have suffered a heart-attack. This report comes just a day after a young girl collapsed and died of ‘suspected heart attack’ while dancing at her sister’s ‘haldi ceremony’. The incident was reported from UP’s Meerut.
