In Indian weddings, there are many rituals and each of them has its own significance. The ‘varmala ceremony’ is one of the most important rituals of the wedding as the bride and the groom see each other for the first time on the wedding day. So, nowadays people create something unique for the ceremony to make it memorable.
However, one such attempt to make the varmala (garland) ceremony memorable was completely ruined by an angry groom and it turned into an embarrassing moment, which has gone viral on social media.
In the now-viral video, the bride and the groom can be seen on the wedding stage for the varmala ceremony while a drone is seen coming towards them with their varmalas. However, as the drone approaches them, the groom for some reason got irritated and pounces on the garland. He smashes the drone on the ground, leaving everyone present at the venue stunned.
Later, some of the groom’s friends and relatives can be seen rushing toward him and trying to calm him down as he engages in a verbal duel with the drone operator. Then the groom was seen handing one of the varmalas to the bride and then had their varamala ceremony.
The video was posted on a funny videos Instagram page called "memewalanews" in February earlier this year. However, it is not known where the incident took place.
Meanwhile, one Insta user commented, “Drone धीरे-धीरे a raha tha aur Dulhe ko Jyada jaldi Lagi Thi.” while another wroted, “Drone be like mujhe kyu mara”. “Ladki ko shaadi se mana kar dena chahiye tha is incident ke baad,” commented a third user.
