Taking to his X handle, Mahindra shared, “Never thought I would quote a song from something as clichéd as the musical “The Sound of Music,” but it’s what came into my head when I saw this video about the extraordinary story of Kaamya Karthikeyan.”

“Climb every mountain, Search high and low, Follow every highway, Every path you know; Climb every mountain, Ford every stream, Follow every rainbow, Till you find your dream,” he further added.

His post further added, “Kaamya, congratulations on your world-beating achievements. You make us proud. But I also have to express my admiration for your parents. Because, as you so eloquently expressed, they were the ones who did not dismiss what most parents would see as a child’s impractical whim. “

“What we can learn from them is that the way to make a child achieve great things is not through relentless pressure, but through quietly encouraging & facilitating children’s  OWN desires and ambitions ‘until they find their dream’, his post concluded.
