Woman gets furious after husband uses 2 tomatoes to cook meal, leaves home with daughter

The skyrocketing prices of tomatoes have been giving sleepless nights to people across India. While the rising prices have been weighing heavily on people’s finances, no one would have ever thought that it will become the reason for a fight between a man and his wife.

Yes, you read that right! The bizarre incident has been reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Shahdol district.

According to India Today, a fight broke out between the couple after he cooked a meal using tomatoes without asking his wife. The wife was furious as he had used two tomatoes for the meal without consulting her.

The fight escalated so much that the woman left him along with her daughter. The man has since then searching for them, but in vain. The matter came to the fore after the man approached the local police for help to trace his missing wife and daughter.

He has been searching for him for the last three days, but they are nowhere to be found, confirmed a senior police officer. He added that the man had indeed filed a missing persons’ complaint in this regard.

“He said that the couple broke out in a fight after he put two tomatoes in the vegetable dish that he was cooking. We have assured him that we will contact his wife and bring them back,” the police officer was quoted as saying.
