The historic ‘Namo Bharat’, India’s first semi-high-speed regional rail service, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi last year. The remarkable moment marked the introduction of the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) in India.

The ‘Namo Bharat’ initiative is a regional development initiative, designed to provide high-speed trains for intercity commuting.

Recently, an X user posted a stunning video of a ‘Namo Bharat’ train, and PM Modi was left stunned. The Prime Minister could not help but leave an adorable comment on the video.

The aerial video shows the train crossing the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. The Eastern Peripheral Expressway is a 135km long, six-lane expressway that passes through Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

“Stunning view of Namo Bharat train crossing the Eastern Peripheral Expressway,” the X user Mohit Kumar shared.

Reacting to the video, PM Modi wrote, “Great video… Your Timeline gives a good perspective of the new India we are building together.”

After getting a shout-out from the Prime Minister himself, the X user thanked him and wrote, “I am thrilled by looking at the responses post PM’s tweet on my work. My deepest gratitude towards @narendramodi ji for not only appreciating but also encouraging all the content creators. Thank you so much, sir. Today is a really good day.”

Worth mentioning, apart from safety and high speed, the Namo Bharat trains also provide passengers with beautiful features like overhead storage, Wi-Fi, charging options at each seat, CCTV cameras, emergency door-opening and also a button to communicate with the train operator.
