Congratulatory messages continue to pour in for Odisha's Animesh Pradhan, who secured AIR-2 in UPSC CSE 2023, from all across the country. Animesh cracked one of the toughest exams in India and is now revelling in his success. 

After the result, one of the videos of Animesh dancing to the tune of a Bhojpuri song went viral on various social media handles. Now, Animesh himself has shared the video on social media and wrote, “Some people are making my dance video viral on social media. some enjoyment.”

In the video, Animesh can be seen showcasing his dance moves on the Bhojpuri song. He can be seen enjoying as he dances to the peppy beats of the song.

After achieving the feat, Animesh remembered his mother who passed away just a month before the announcement of UPSC results.

“My preparation for civil services was quite challenging as my mother was going through cancer treatment. Her cancer news left me devastated as I had very little time to spend with her. All I wanted was to clear UPSC before she left me as she was my biggest support system,” said Pradhan.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the final results for the Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2023 on May 30. This year, as many as 1,016 candidates have been shortlisted.

Of the 1,016 recommended candidates, as many as 347 are from the general category, 115 are from the EWS category, 303 candidates are from the OBC category and from SC and ST, the number of recommended candidates are 165 and 86 respectively.
