Nepali influencer Bibek Pangeni dies after battling cancer, netizens hail wife Srijana Subedi
Bibek Pangeni, a social media influencer and a PhD candidate in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Georgia, passed away on December 19, 2024, after fighting a courageous battle with a brain tumour. He along with his wife Srijana Subedi, won millions of hearts with their inspirational videos during his treatment. He was diagnosed with a 4th stage brain cancer in 2022 and was undergoing chemotherapy in the US.

Bibek's wife Srijana Subedi stood as his pillar of strength and dedicated herself fully to his care and wellbeing. What he was undergoing during the time of treatment reflects an extraordinary bond of love between the duo. Bibek shared his cancer treatment experience through his Instagram reels and became an inspiration for many. In one of the videos, Srijana revealed that doctors gave Bibek an ultimatum and declared that he had six months to live. Another video gives a glimpse into his personal moments and his struggles during treatment. Through his videos, Bibek connected with his followers as well as inspired millions of people.
