Naib tehsildar in UP’s Varanasi slaps class 12 girl for seeking answer, video goes viral; watch

Reports of government officials misusing power for their own benefit keep cropping up. Even there are instances of government officials abusing and assaulting subordinates as well as the public.

Recently, a video has stormed the internet in which a naib tehsildar can be seen slapping a girl for seeking accountability.

In the video, a girl, seeming to be in her teens, can be seen holding a paper and seeking clarification over some document. The place is visibly crowded with several people surrounding the government official and the girl.

When the girl asks about some documents, the government official clarifies that she has shown all papers. During the argument, the girl raises her voice and says, “Once you talked to me?”

Suddenly, the naib tehsildar slaps the girl which triggers outrage among the public. Even the girl holds her hand and gets engaged in a small fight while the public continuously shouts.

Meanwhile, a cop intervenes and stops the irate crowd from charging at the naib tehsildar. While the annoyed public can be seen demanding justice, the cops escort the tehsildar out of the office premises.

The irate people in the crowd can be heard shouting, “How could she slap her?”

As claimed, in a land-related case in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi, the young girl, reportedly a student of class 12, asked for a copy of the naib tehsildar’s order. However, the government official slapped her and walked out of the place with the help of the police.

Though the authenticity of the video couldn’t be verified, the video has gone viral on social media with users sharing it massively and raising questions on the government official misusing her power and slapping the teenage girl.
