IAS Ria Dabi, who is currently posted as the Assistant Collector of Alwar, Rajasthan, is quite active on social media. She often gives her followers a sneak peek into her personal and professional life on her Instagram handle.

Ria followed in the footstep of her elder sister, 2015 UPSC topper Tina Dabi, to join the civil services. Just like Tina, Ria also completed her graduation from Delhi's Lady Shri Ram College.

The younger Dabi sister was inspired by Tina’s success and decided to appear for the exam in the future to serve the people. In  2020, Ria Dabi appeared for the UPSC exam, and on her first try, she cracked the civil services examination with flying colours securing 15th rank in the exams.

Ria Dabi was born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and when she was in class 7th, she and her family moved to Delhi where she completed her higher education.

Apart from her work, Ria is passionate about painting and she often shares about different styles of painting she does.

Recently, on the eve of World Art Day, Ria shared a painting of Lod Buddha. Sharing the beautiful painting, the young IAS officer “Tried my hand at an Abstract painting of Lord Buddha.”

Earlier also she shared many pictures and videos showcasing her painting skill. She previously shared Madhubani paintings, mandala art, and acrylic paintings on her Instagram handle.
