A Bengaluru-based man has taken social media by storm by opening a chaat shop named ‘Ex-Girlfriend’. Yes, you read that right! Social media users cannot help but burst out in laughter after seeing the name of the shop.

Like the name, the taste of the plate of crunchy papdis and tikkis topped with curd and flavourful chutneys is also uplifting the mood of the customers. As the customers enjoy their chaat, the hilarious name ensures to uplift their mood.

The chaat shop went viral after an X (formerly known as Twitter) user shared a picture online. The X user Farrago Metiquirke shared a picture of the chaat shop and wrote, “Looking to chat about your breakup? Fear no more.”

The picture shows a woman with a huge board with its name ‘Ex Girlfriend Gangarpete Chats’. 

A woman employee is seen sitting at the billing counter while a customer enjoys his meal in the background. At the forefront of the shop, two menus – one in English and the other in Kannada – are visible, affixed to the counter.

The chaat shop offers pani puri at just Rs 40 followed by masala puri, dahi puri, nipat masala, sev puri, bhel puri and chips masala. Interestingly, all the items are served for Rs 40 while only dahi puri costs Rs 50.

As expected, the comments section was flooded with hilarious reactions and laughing emoticons after the picture went viral.

A user hilariously wrote, “This is the place you don’t want to bump in if you’re with your girlfriend.”

“The person sitting inside looks upset. Must be thinking about his ex,” another user wrote. A third user wrote, “This is why Bengaluru is Bengaluru.”
