Khan Sir with his family

The newlyweds were widely congratulated, but the celebration also drew criticism from some who questioned the traditional bridal look.
Speaking on a podcast with ANI, Khan Sir clarified that the decision to wear the veil was entirely his wife’s. He revealed that AS Khan, a government officer from Siwan, Bihar, opted to cover her face at the reception because it was something she had envisioned since childhood.
Khan Sir explained that his wife wanted to stand out and embrace the full bridal experience amidst the well-dressed guests.

“She wanted to feel like a bride, like the centre of attention,” he said, adding that the veil was her personal choice.
At the event, Khan Sir—whose real name is reportedly Faisal Khan—wore a burgundy suit, while his wife donned a traditional red bridal lehenga. Her outfit featured intricate gold zardozi work and sequin detailing. She completed her look with a matching embroidered dupatta draped over her face.
The reception also saw the presence of notable personalities, including Physics Wallah founder Alakh Pandey, who was seen warmly embracing Khan Sir during the celebrations. Despite his fame as a beloved online educator, Khan Sir has largely kept his personal life private. However, his recent wedding and the surrounding conversation have sparked significant public interest.
