Hilarious memes of Rakesh Roshan trends after Mamata Banerjee’s gaffe while lauding ISRO scientists

India on Wednesday created history after Chandrayaan-3 landed on the moon’s south pole. As the historic event opened up new possibilities for mankind, several politicians, celebrities and scientists celebrated India’s mark on the lunar canvas and congratulated the scientists of ISRO.

However, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been trending online after she congratulated the ISRO scientists and the brains behind the success of Chandrayaan-3.

While mentioning Rakesh Sharma, Mamata goofed up and named director-producer Rakesh Roshan, actor Hrithik Roshan’s father which has led to hilarious memes on social media.

“When last time Rakesh Roshan landed on the Moon, former PM Indira Gandhi asked him how India was looking from there,” Mamata was captured saying. The hilarious goof up has been trending ever since Chandrayaan-3 touched the south pole of the lunar.

Soon after Mamata Banerjee’s clip went viral, both Rakesh Roshan and Mamata Banerjee have become among the top trends on X.

The Chandrayaan-3 was launched on July 14 and after a month of manoeuvre, the lander has finally reached its destination, a feat matched only by Russia, the US and China.
