The Civil Services Examination (CSE) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is renowned as one of the most challenging exams in India, representing an aspiration for countless individuals. Despite the formidable nature of the examination, numerous candidates have achieved success through unwavering dedication and relentless effort. Among these accomplished individuals is Mudita Sharma who now serves as an Indian Defence Accounts Service officer.

Mudita Sharma, the daughter of a government school teacher from Merta, Rajasthan has achieved an impressive feat by securing the 381st rank in the UPSC civil services exam. Her journey to this remarkable achievement is a testament to her determination and passion for public service.

As per a News18 report, Mudita grew up in an environment that valued education, as she was one of five academically inclined siblings. Her consistent dedication to her studies was evident when she ranked 15th in the state during her Class 10 board exams. She pursued her early education at a city school until Class 8, after which she attended the Girls Higher Secondary School for Class 10. For her Class 11 and 12, she continued her education at the government school in Merta Road.

Following her schooling, Mudita Sharma pursued a degree in MBBS from SN Medical College, Jodhpur. She embarked on a medical career, working in a private hospital in Jaipur. However, her unwavering childhood dream of becoming an IAS officer led her to make a significant life decision. Mudita decided to leave her medical practice and fully commit to preparing for the UPSC civil services examination.

Her dedication and perseverance paid off when she appeared for the UPSC exam in 2022 and secured the 381st rank in her first attempt. She left her medical practice behind and joined UPSC coaching in Delhi, determined to fulfil her aspiration of serving the nation as an IAS officer.
