However, a recent picture of a software engineer, reportedly, working with Microsoft has left the internet shocked. The 35-year-old techie drives an auto-rickshaw in Bengaluru on weekends to 'combat loneliness.'

The video of the techie, showcasing him as an auto-rickshaw driver, has surfaced. As claimed, the 35-year-old techie who is employed at Microsoft's office in Koramangala drives Namma Yatri auto-rickshaw on weekends. The reason behind picking such a choice is to combat feelings of loneliness. 

Soon after the post surfaced on X (formerlyTwitter), it triggered a wide range of reactions from netizens. While a few users expressed sympathy for the techie, others were taken aback by the sight of the techie driving an auto-rickshaw. Moreover, the tech professional can be seen wearing a Microsoft hoodie. 

While the authenticity of the post and the claims couldn't be verified, netizens have flooded the comments section expressing their views on it.

Reacting to the post, a user wrote, "As the tech industry grows, so does the phenomenon of loneliness among professionals. A hidden truth: sometimes, the most advanced technology can’t replace human interaction." (sic)

A second user wrote, "Are u serious?? N our fake respect doesn't allow us to... n how can he be so alone?? He can have 1000s of..." (sic)

"Couple of years ago there was a Rapido guy who was SDET at Microsoft," wrote a third user. (sic)

However, several others also opined that the hoodie could be a 'gift' from a techie to the person driving the auto-rickshaw.

"Or, some techie working at Microsoft has given this kind person their hoodie," wrote a user. (sic)

"This is post is because the guy was wearing a Microsoft hoodie and not because he was an actual engineer," commented another. (sic)
