Due to safety risks, high emissions, environmental concerns, etc. scrapping these vehicles is the best option. However, recently an unbelievable incident has come to light about a person who held a burial ceremony of his lucky car.

According to reports, a farmer identified as Sanjay Polara and his family, residing in Gujarat's Amreli district, became the talk of the town after they held a grand burial ceremony for their lucky car. Nearly 1500 people, including seers and spiritual leaders, attended the burial event. The farmer family organised the grand event on their agricultural land at Padarsingha village of Lathi Taluka on Thursday. They organized a feast and conducted traditional Hindu rituals.

Sanjay and his family held the burial ceremony of their 12-year-old Wagon R. The motive behind such an emotional and unique farewell to the car was to create a lasting memory for future generations. 

Reportedly, the family believes that the car brought good fortune to them and played a major role in their success.

The farmer family draped the car with green fabric, performed a traditional puja, showered rose petals on the vehicle while priests chanted mantras, performed garba around their beloved car and gently pushed the car to a 15-feet deep pit for burial.

Furthermore, Sanjay plans to plant a tree at the burial site as a reminder for the family's future generations.
