Bengaluru techie rejects 13 job offers from TCS, Infosys and Wipro, reason will leave you stunned

It is the dream of every techie to get a job offer from IT giants like TCS, Infosys and Wipro. However, this 21-year-old woman IT professional from Bengaluru not only rejected the job offers from these big IT firms but also rejected 10 other job offers.

Well, the reason is nothing but an internship. Yes, you read that right! Riti Kumari received 13 job offers including TCS, Infosys and Wipro with one of the companies offering her a salary of Rs 17 lakh per annum.

But, Riti decided to follow her heart and instead opted for an internship with Walmart. Now, she earns more than Rs 20 lakh per annum, only at the age of 21. Going by her Linkedln profile, Riti interned at Walmart from January 2022 to July 2022.

After the successful completion of her internship, she joined as software development engineer-2 at Walmart Global Tech India (Bengaluru).

“It was a tough decision to choose between stability or risk. But at that time when no one was supporting my risk my sister advised me to follow my heart,” Kumari said.

“I worked really hard, gave my pre-placement offer interviews, and ultimately got a job offer from Walmart,” she added.

Now, her parents who were once angry with her for rejecting the lucrative job offers, feel proud of her.
