Atul Subhash suicide re-run: Another woman demands Rs 1 crore alimony after 5 months of marriage
Thirty-four-year-old techie Atul Subhash died by suicide on December 9 after accusing his estranged wife Nikita Singhania and her family members of harassment. His death has sparked a debate on the need of justice for men and false dowry and harassment cases filed by wives for alimony.
Several such cases of false alimony have come to the fore, prompting a demand for judicial and law reforms. Meanwhile, several men have come forward to narrate their stories of being harassed by their wives and in-laws in fabricated cases.
Amidst the uproar, Atul’s case is making Indian men come out and voice out their grievances. Meanwhile, a man shared how his wife has filed multiple cases against him, demanding Rs 15 lakh per month maintenance, and Rs 1 crore alimony.
She got married for 5 months only, filed multiple cases with demand of 1.5LPM maintainance and 1cr alimony. Atulâs case is making men to come out and voice their grievances.

Alok Mittal, a UX Design Manager revealed that his wife, an Analyst at Collegedunia has filed multiple cases against him and stated ‘if anything happens to me, I want to make it clear who will be responsible: Mansi Aggarwal aur uski pamper karne wali family.’
He also revealed that his wife has been making the bizarre demands only after 5 months of their marriage. Although the couple has been married for 18 months, they have only stayed together for 5 months.
Likewise, an Assistant Professor has alleged harassment by his wife and father-in-law over alimony and false charges in Assam. He was even in the ICU for four days after being attacked by his wife and her family.
