Nandi Hills, which is a short getaway from the city, is known for its picturesque location. It offers the much needed respite for all the software engineers who are tired of their monotonous works. It is one of the most popular getaways near Bangalore.

The visuals are from early morning and can indeed leave anyone spellbound. Rajesh has also shared the route to the hills that is covered with greenery and trees on both sides of the road.

The best way to reach the Nandi Hills is to take a personal vehicle. Tourists can also take KSRTC buses from the bus stand. It takes 2-3 hours to reach Nandi Hills from Bengaluru. 

Best time to visit

The best time to visit is during sunrise and sunset. Hues of red, yellow and orange cover the surroundings and make the hills look surreal. So, it is best to visit it early in the morning or during the sunset.
