You’ll love these cool features in Windows 11 22H2 Update: Check ’em out

Here are some of the coolest new features in Windows 11 which come with the new Windows 11 22H2 Update.

1. App Folders in the Start Menu

It is now possible to group your apps into folders with the Start Menu in 22H2. This is a useful feature that helps organise apps better. It was available in Windows 10 and is now available in Windows 11 too. In order to create a folder, simply drag and drop an app icon over another. Once it is created, it can be expanded by dragging apps onto it. You can edit the folder name by opening it and clicking the Edit Name button. The existing Start Menu folders are different from the app folders, which can already be added to the menu's bottom part.

2. New Start Menu Layouts

You can now shrink or expand the Recommended section of the Start Menu. There are three layouts: More Pins, Default, or More Recommendations. The Start Menu layout can be changed by going to Settings > Personalization > Start > Layout.

3. Focus Sessions

Focus Sessions are now a part of Focus, which was previously known as Focus Assist. The Focus Session is a period of time during which a timer appears, notification badges are disabled, and Do Not Disturb is enabled. Adding or removing any of these features can be altered during the session itself. Focus Sessions can last anywhere from 5 minutes to 240 minutes. 

They can be started from Settings > System > Focus, Notification Center, or Clock. It is possible to integrate Microsoft To-Do tasks when you begin a Focus Session through the Clock app.  Added Taskbar Features like Drag and Drop and Overflow

It is now easier to add apps to the Taskbar with drag and drop. There will be an overflow menu for apps on the Taskbar soon, although it was not part of the initial 22H2 update. You will see an overflow button on the right side of the Taskbar if you have more than can fit in the space. Clicking it will display your extra apps, just like the overflow menu in the System Tray.
