WhatsApp update: Group admins to delete any message in groups

Meta’s very own instant messaging app- WhatsApp is working on exciting and new features which will give more power and enhance experience for the users as well as group admins.

As per a WABetInfo report, WhatsApp is finally rolling out admin delete to some lucky beta testers on WhatsApp beta for Android. The Admin delete feature allows group admins to delete any message in their groups, the report said.

With this feature, group admins are expected to have more control over their groups by using this new moderation tool.

Group admins can now delete messages for everyone.

The new WhatsApp feature has only been rolled out for beta testers.

Only select beta testers have access to the feature but WhatsApp may roll it out in the coming days.
