First, check how many days your system has been on without a proper shutdown.

To do this, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager. Click on the "Performance" tab, and you will see the date and time your system has been running in the background. It is important to address this issue.

To properly shut down your system, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Control Panel on your computer.

  2. Click on "Power Options."

  3. Select “Choose what the power buttons do.”

  4. Click on “Change settings that are currently unavailable.”

  5. Uncheck the option for “Turn on fast startup.”

  6. Click on “Save changes.”

By following these steps, you will be able to fully shut down your system without any processes running in the background.
