Air pollution is a global issue, and it is a serious concern in India as well. Millions of people around the world have been affected by air pollution, which has a direct impact on their health. Therefore, it is important to be aware of the air quality in your vicinity, as well as the places you intend to visit.

Google recently added Air Quality Index (AQI) data to its Maps application, which allows users to check the air quality in their area, as well as in the places they plan to visit.

How to use Google Maps to check the air quality:

To begin with, you need an Android or iOS device with an internet connection, and you must ensure that your Google Maps application is up to date. Google Map also needs your permission to access your location so that it can detect your current location.

1.First, Open the Google Maps application on your smartphone or go to the Google Maps website on your computer.
2.Turn on location services on your smartphone or computer.
3.This will enable Google Maps to detect your current location.
4.Search for a location in the search bar or tap on the map to select a location.
5.Tap on the Layers icon placed at the top right corner of the Maps screen on smartphones and at the bottom left corner on computers.
6.From the pop-up menu, select the Air Quality option.
7.That's it! Google Maps will now display the air quality in your area.

Checking the air quality in your area using Google Maps is simple and easy. By following the steps outlined above, you can quickly and effortlessly check the air quality index in any location.
