Twitter has added exciting new features for its users.

Blue users can now upload longer videos, up to two hours in duration and 8GB in size.

These features are expected to expand opportunities for content creators and improve the video experience on Twitter.

Furthermore, Twitter's CEO Elon Musk, has announced two more features that will bring further innovation to video engagement on the platform.

Seek Buttons for Video Playback

Elon Musk has responded to a user's request on Twitter and shared some exciting news.

Twitter will soon introduce 15-second forward and back seek buttons for video playback.

These buttons will allow users to easily navigate through videos by jumping forward or backward in 15-second intervals.

This feature aims to make video exploration on Twitter more intuitive and enjoyable.

Musk also mentioned that this addition will be accompanied by a picture-in-picture (PiP) mode, enhancing the overall video viewing experience

The new features are set to be rolled out next week.

Picture-in-Picture Mode

Twitter is introducing a picture-in-picture (PiP) mode to enhance the multitasking experience while watching videos.

With PiP mode, users can keep scrolling through their feed while a video plays in a small floating window, usually located in a corner of the screen.

This innovative feature ensures that videos don't interrupt the scrolling experience, allowing users to seamlessly consume content without interruptions.

Elon Musk announced that the PiP mode will be launched alongside the seek buttons, offering users greater flexibility and engagement.

Video and Voice Calls

Twitter has ambitious plans to bring video and voice call capabilities to the platform, aligning with Elon Musk's vision of making Twitter an all-in-one app.

This integration of video and voice communication features is aimed at offering users a comprehensive and seamless social experience.

Although specific details about these upcoming features have not been disclosed yet, Twitter users can look forward to a more immersive and interactive platform that enables real-time connections and conversations.
