Twitter rebranding: Introducing X as the new identity, farewell to the iconic blue bird logo

Elon Musk, a well-known entrepreneur and the owner of Twitter, has been making frequent and engaging tweets, which have been grabbing headlines regularly.

Recently, on a Sunday, Musk surprised everyone with an announcement on Twitter. He expressed his intention to revamp Twitter's iconic blue bird logo and replace it with the letter X.

True to his promise, Musk changed the Twitter logo to the letter X. Consequently, Twitter itself has been renamed as X.

The social media platform unveiled the new logo on Monday, which features a white 'X' on a black background.

Musk also announced that the URL x.com will now redirect to Twitter.com.

If you visit the app stores, the Twitter app is now labeled as "X Crop" by the publisher.

However, in mobile devices, the loading mark still displays the Twitter logo, contrary to Musk's statement. But on desktop computers, the new X logo and loading sign are visible when users open the Twitter website.

Elon Musk updated his profile picture with the new X logo and added a blue tick and the letter X to his username.

In one of his tweets, Musk shared a photo of the headquarters, stating that they would showcase the Light X on the headquarters' wall that night.
