In social media applications, many individuals use various platforms, with Facebook being one of the most popular for messaging and connecting with others. This platform offers a multitude of features, including video viewing capabilities.

However, some users encounter issues with Facebook's algorithm, particularly regarding the display of adult content in their feeds.

It can be frustrating when the feed becomes inundated with such content, especially when users simply wish to enjoy videos on the platform.

To address this problem, there are steps you can take to limit the appearance of sensitive content on Facebook.

Check the steps below:

First, open the Facebook app and navigate to the menu icon located at the top of the homepage.

Then, click on "Settings" to access the settings menu. Within the settings, locate the "Performance" section and select "News Feed."

From there, choose the option to "Reduce" the amount of sensitive content displayed.

Upon clicking "Reduce," a tab will appear, allowing you to specify your preferences regarding sensitive content.

Opt for the "Reduce More" option and confirm your selection by clicking "OK."

After adjusting these settings, close the app and reopen it. You should notice a decrease in the amount of adult content appearing in your feed.

In the event that you still encounter such content, you can further minimise its visibility by selecting the three-dot menu icon on the video and choosing the "Show Less" option.

Remember, if you come across adult content, it is best to refrain from engaging with it or interacting further. By following these steps, you can create a more enjoyable and personalised experience on Facebook.
