We have been witnessing an influx of budget 5G smartphones in the market. Among them are the iQOO Z7 5G and POCO X5 5G- both offer impressive features and come at an affordable price.

Design and Display

Both the iQOO Z7 5G and POCO X5 5G have a plastic frame and come with a punch-hole display. The smartphones have a sleek and modern design that looks premium and feels comfortable to hold.

When it comes to the display, the iQOO Z7 5G boasts a 6.38-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an impressive 90Hz refresh rate, which means that it can display content smoothly without any lag. 

On the other hand, the POCO X5 5G comes with a bigger 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and a higher 120Hz refresh rate, which makes it perfect for gaming and watching videos.

Performance

The iQOO Z7 5G is powered by MediaTek’s latest octa-core Dimensity 920 chipset, which ensures that the phone runs smoothly and efficiently. 

The POCO X5 5G, on the other hand, comes with the Snapdragon 695 chipset, which also delivers a powerful performance. Both smartphones come with 6GB and 8GB RAM options, which means that you can run multiple apps and games at the same time without any lag.

When it comes to storage, the iQOO Z7 5G comes with a single storage option of 128GB, while the Poco X5 5G comes in two storage variants 128GB and 256GB.

The iQOO Z7 5G runs FunTouchOS 13 based on Android 13 out-of-the-box, while the POCO X5 5G runs MIUI 13 for Poco, which is based on Android 12.

Battery

Both smartphones offer impressive battery life, with the iQOO Z7 5G boasting a 4500mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging and the POCO X5 5G packing in a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

This means that you can enjoy long hours of use without worrying about running out of battery.

Cameras

The iQOO Z7 5G features a dual-camera setup consisting of a 64MP main camera with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor.

While the POCO X5 5G has a triple camera setup, which includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The iQOO Z7 offers hybrid stabilization, which includes both OIS and EIS, and supports 4K video recording at 30 fps.

However, the POCO X5 5G does not have optical stabilization and only supports 1080P video recording at 30 fps.

There is a 16MP camera on the front of the iQOO Z7 5G while a 13MP camera is on the front of the POCO X5 5G. Both smartphones offer great camera performance and can capture stunning photos and videos.

Price in India:

When it comes to the price, both the iQOO Z7 5G and Poco X5 5G are priced competitively in the Indian market.

The iQOO Z7 5G starts at Rs. 18,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant while the 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 19,999.

However, POCO X5 5G has a price of Rs. 18,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, and Rs. 20,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
