Popular photo and video sharing social networking platform Instagram is currently experiencing issues for some users worldwide.

These problems include difficulties in refreshing their feeds.

According to Downdetector, there are reports from over 100 users regarding these issues. However, neither Instagram nor Meta has acknowledged this outage so far.

As of now, it seems that the problem is mainly affecting Android users, as there are fewer reports of outages from iPhone and web users.

According to reports from X, formerly known as Twitter, some users are unable to refresh their feeds, while others have experienced their entire Instagram gallery going blank.

Users have also reported that this issue has persisted for the past 3 to 4 days on the Android mobile application.

Downdetector data shows that 66 percent of these reports are related to the mobile app, 27 percent pertain to issues with the feed, and only 7 percent come from the website.

The cause of this outage remains unclear, as Instagram, owned by Meta, has not provided any official response regarding the situation.
