How to claim your Sahara refund online: Step-by-step guide
The CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal is now live, offering a hassle-free way for nearly 10 crore depositors of Sahara Group cooperative societies to claim their refunds.
Launched by the Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah on July 18, this online portal aims to assist genuine eligible depositors in getting their money back.
If you are one of these depositors, follow this step-by-step guide to easily submit your claim through the Sahara Refund Portal.
To get started, visit the homepage of the CRCS Sahara refund portal and click on "Depositor Registration."
On the registration page, provide accurate details, including the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar card and the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar.
Click on "Get OTP" and enter the OTP received. Afterward, click "Verify OTP" to complete the mandatory registration process.
Once you have successfully entered the OTP, you will be directed to the Aadhaar consent page.
Here, you must accept the terms and conditions by ticking the box and then click on "Proceed."
On the next page, enter your Aadhaar number and the OTP received to proceed further.
Here, you will find your personal details along with the bank account linked to your Aadhaar number.
This is the account where the refund balance will be deposited.
Enter your email ID and click "Next."
You will now be required to fill out the refund application form.
Start by selecting the society name, typing the membership number, and entering the account number (also known as the control number).
Next, input the receipt number and all other necessary details before clicking "Next."
After submitting all the required details, you will receive a receipt.
Print the receipt and attach your photo to it. Sign your signature at the bottom of the form.
Now, you need to upload the completed receipt with your attached photo.
Additionally, if the claimed amount is Rs 50,000 or above, the PAN card is mandatory.
In this case, upload a copy of your PAN card with the signature and enter the PAN number before submitting.
Congratulations! Your application has been submitted successfully and will now be displayed on the CRCS site.
The website will display a thank-you message along with your claim number.
Make sure to save this claim number for future reference.
