How to add song to your Instagram profile bio: A step-by-step guide

Meta-owned messaging app Instagram recently added new features to make the app more user-friendly. 

One exciting update is the ability to add a song to your profile. The selected song will appear in the bio section of your profile. You can change or remove the song whenever you like.

Instagram shared the news, saying, “We’re excited to announce that you can now add a song to your profile, giving you more ways to express yourself through music. Your profile song selection will be live until you change it.”

How to add music to your Instagram profile:

1. Update the Instagram app from Google Play Store or the App Store.
2. Open the app and go to your profile.
3. Tap ‘Edit Profile’.
4. Select the ‘Add music to your profile’ option.
5. Search for the song you want to add.
6. Choose the part of the song you want to display (up to 30 seconds).
7. Save your changes.

The song will now appear in your profile bio.
